The effect of mankind’s pollution is at the very least aggravating any natural climate change cycle, and probably in this case to be responsible for the climate change we see around us.
Climate change will result in, well, climate change.
Some places will heat up, some will cool down. The OVERALL effect is going to be an increased in the temperature and that will, amongst other things create rises in sea level.
THAT will be disastrous and the effects are already creating serious problems in low lying nations such a Bangladesh.
Because so much of what we do is affected by money it makes perfect sense to bias our activities by differential taxation.
So DO tax polluting activities, DO tax polluters because what we are presently doing is extracting a tax FROM nature by our actions.
