Bees Face Extinction In Europe

Bees face extinction in Europe

Postby John » 07 Nov 2008, 12:29

HUNDREDS of beekeepers gathered yesterday to demand an increase in the amount of funding for research on bee health.

Ivor Davies, a past president of the BBKA, said: "Over the past five or ten years the number of bees dying every winter has increased.

"There is something going on with our bees that we do not understand."

Actually this is not only Europe that faces this problem. America noticed bees dying as far back as in 2005. There are several opinions in this regards, but no proofs for these opinions were found.
One of the most appropriate reason is the magnetic field caused by modern technology, especially mobile phone stations. This radiation (unfelt to human) is dangerous for bees.

Yep, I shared Peter's point here...

Instead of the bee, there are 16,119 species were in danger of extinction, where it is 1 in 8 species of birds, 1 in 3 of amphibians, and 1 in 4 of mammals!

Bees could die because of the air pollution. Our lungs are million times bigger than the lungs of bees. Thus, they need less time to get intoxicated and die fast.
Honey is a therapeutic substance, what do we do if bees keep dying and there is no henoy ?
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

just for you to understand how important are bees for us, Einstein said “No bees, no food for mankind. The bee is the basis of life on this earth ". This were his words indeed, while he was a genius and knew what he was talking about.
“The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.”
