This is a good point. However, Unemployment is at it highest since the 1970s. How can an unemployed person be expected to spend money that they do not earn?

to think well banks do not offer loans to those without a steady income every month ... so no credit can get to spend. from one side is good because they do not have money to repay loans, on the other hand it might mean a step towards employment. Who knows?

yes you are right in a way, but maybe is unemployed due to his own decision. Maybe he want to open his business, to work for him and not for someone. In this case he need a credit... so why to refuse him if in near future he will have money. but still is another way...he may appeal to guaranteec or the pledging of assets(goods, proprietary)
