The future of business

Postby Faw_Peter » 03 Jun 2008, 04:12

What is going the future business going to be like. I mean if oil production will seize in about 20 years, what would the core business be?

everything will be based on e-commerce, speculation, ecological technologies etc. large corporations extracting oil may go bankrupt

Some entrepreneurs who specialize in making camera film for amateur photographers could possibly make a living, since this activity only begins to bring big profits to them.

I think newspapers have future. Although we have today internet, TV, radio - newspapers haven't disappeared. People simply feel comfortable reading it. That's why this business will survive

For example, if the climate changes, every country will have to fit to them. So, maybe the business of conditioner producers will raise.

Generally, maybe all the business which we have today can survive in the future. But we'll have only one big company in each industry.

hmm, somekind of merging in each area, just like Microsoft recently wanted to swallow yahoo. Maybe, over the last years there is a general trend of companies merging.

they merge for creating new products. Regardless of how rich a company is, it requires changes, since the consumer may consider its products obsolete.

so you're telling guys that the small business will not survive in the future? You discourage me, that means I won't be able to develop my own business.

Everything is swallowed already, a new business will not survive, unless it's a branch of a trans-national company, which already consolidated its positions.

Reselling seems to be the future. And one o the new branch of the world economy will be the alternative energy resources.

reselling will be a business of the nearest future, but not a far, distant future. Reselling began to be popular about 2-3 years ago.

Actually Japan does that already. There are special stores in Japan which sell a breathe of clean air. The clean oxygen is sold in specially-isolated plastic bottles and can be bought for 1$ for taking one breathe of indeed pure ecological air.

How about web based bartering? A bid/ask system where subscribers exchange services.
You could have ratings of the users and providers based on quality of services rendered and experience.
Prices would be driven by ratings of both.

Don't forget that blegging is already here.
Blegging = web based, similar to blogging, online begging
e.g. "Please send USD 5 by sending a text message to xxxxxx in order to support animal rights"

Interesting idea, you mean something like Ebay, but, instead of money people can give other goods. Frankly, this sounds great. But aren't there already similar websites?

Indeed. And rating both parties would go a long way in establishing risk and barter based pricing of services. Thus, if one is a difficult partner (both as bid or ask) your cost of bartering would go up to the point where nobody would do business with said difficult person.

buying or exchanging things via the internet is not as good as we want it to be. Certain things require attention. You should hold the item in your hands in order to understand whether this is what you need or not...

Internet marketing is the future business, I believe people will alway develop new ways of advertising and marketing skills all round the internet. Internet is the only business empire that develops new ideas every day and therefore it keeps business revolves around.
Affiliate marketing is not only a business field but also social network for many people who involve themselves in this field marketing.

It has good prospects. As the loan industry due to slowdown is getting risky so such persons who can search the correct report are of great importance.
