Obama: Nobel Peace Prize

President Obama was awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize by Norwegian Nobel Committee.Obama was honored for his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples". Obama said Friday that he was "surprised and deeply humbled" by such a decision.That decision seemed to be surprise for many observers

The reaction on Barack Obama's Nobel Peace Prize is different and, I have to say, more negative. Israels and Palestinians were very surprised by the news of Obama's win. Palestinians, in particular, are dissapointed that Obama hadn't done concrete actions to stop Israeli occupation or creating an independent Palistinean state.
