Italy To Build Nuclear Power Stations

Italy to build nuclear power stations

Postby Benn » 22 May 2008, 23:39

Italy averred it would begin building nuclear power stations to reduce dependence on oil and gas, scrapping a 1987 decision by referendum that rejected atomic energy. Oil becomes less and less popular because of its continuous price raise.
If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."

“Only with nuclear power will we be able to produce clean energy on a large scale, safely, at low cost and without damage to the environment.” The government would, however have to find “credible solutions for the disposal of nuclear waste,” said the Italian Minister of Industry.
