Postby Benn » 08 Dec 2008, 01:28

French President Nicolas Sarkozy announced about a plan on backing the country's economy. Expected investment amount is 26 billion euros. According to Sarkozy's words, these investments will allow raising the French economy in 2009 by 0.6%.

The proposed document provides for allocating 1.3 billion euros to car industry. This action will cease massive layoffs at car factories. Moreover, 6.5 billion euros will be assigned for infrastructure development, that is railways, schools, hospitals. 11.5 billion more will go to tax refund.

WoW, after the astronomous 26 million Euros of investment, it only has about 0.6% of GDP in 2009...

It's really a tough time for Sarkozy and the French!

France would better invest in green technologies like electric cars and such...
In near future electric cars will push all other cars from the market.

France is now building another giant nuclear power station. This seems to be taking place after the gas crisis in Europe. By 2015, France will become almost entirely independent in energy matters.
